December 6th, 2006 - WHAT HAPPENED??? Pt. 2

Here is the place where perhaps I should turn on the big lying machine, and start naming computer failure, earthquakes and other stuff as the main reason behind our poor updating speed. The truth is that there hasn't been that much action lately. Being a rock band nowadays is not the easiest thing in the world and sometimes you get a bit sick of things not happening quickly enough. Still Spencer ARE alive and kicking and we will certainly update this page more often from now on...

November 30th, 2006 - Live at Skarinska, Umeå

Last night we played at Scharinska here in Umeå. It was a really nice gig and we feel like we did a good job. The gig also gave us a perfect opportunity to try out our latest song, Skeleton Dance. It sounded pretty good.

September 10th, 2006 - WHAT HAPPENED???

Okey. As everyone on planet earth can see, there hasn't been that much action on our website this summer, and I guess it wouldn't be totally unfair to ask the question: "what the %¤" happened?". The thing is that we've had a slight internet  problem. To be honest Johan has had an internet problem. He has not had any internet at all. But now we are back and there will be some serious upgrades soon so please stay sharp.

During this computer blackout we have played a few gigs in Umeå. They went well and we look forward to playing live again soon.

April 23rd, 2006 - SPENCER ROCKED AT KLUBB PINGVIN

Yesterday we played at Klubb Pingvin in Umeå. It was a great show. The stage was very good, the sound too and above all the audience was perfect. We enjoyed ourselves to the maximum.

April 3rd, 2006 - SOME NEW GIGS

It's now clear that Spencer will be appearing live on stage again in Umeå. The 22nd of April we will play at Studion for Club Pingvin. More info coming soon.

It also seems like Spencer will be appearing at Vännesdagarna in July. Mor info about that when everything is decided.

March 25th , 2006 - MERCHANDISE... ...OR SOMETHING QUITE LIKE IT.

In a very home made way, we have created a few spencer pins that you can buy from knapp.nu. It's no official mercandise, amd it's not organized by knapp.nu in any other way than that you can buy it from them. Still, wouldn't it be cool with to walk the streets with at Spencer pin on your jacket???

February 8th, 2006 - DOWNLOAD THE BIG POLITICIAN

As a gift to the fans you can now download our latest EP, The Big Politician for FREE right here at The Good Ones. Click here to be directed to the audio section. If you like it, please tell your friends all about it. The reason for us giving the songs away for nothing is that we are really not in this to make enormous profits. It's more important to spread the word about us for now. So please help us do that.

February 3rd, 2006 - SPENCER IN THE PRESS

It has been a wonderful week for us. First we appeared on Västerbottensnytt on Monday. After that the papers wrote a few articles, and finally we had a little spot on the radio. Just like in the old days. Big thanks to Beppe, Olof and Carolina for helping us out.

February 2nd, 2006 - WHAT A MARVELLOUS NIGHT

Man oh man. This is what every band truly lives for. Playing live in front of a bunch of happy people. The return gig is now completed and we are very happy with the way things went down. In front of a very nice audience we did our best to play our hearts out, and I know for a fact that we couldn't have tried harder. There were four totally exhausted, but very happy musicians standing back stage after the show. We loved it. We're back!

February 1st 2006 - THE RETURN IS IMMINENT

(18.41) After completing a decent sound check we are now ready to return to the live stage. Everything feels great, and although we might be a bit nervous, there is no doubt in our minds that the show will be rocking. We'll tell you how it went tomorrow...

January 17th 2006 - THE WEBSITE IS PUBLISHED

Finally the website is up and running for real. Obviously it's not constructed by web professionals, but it sure feels good to have a place on the web to write about the band and what we're up to. During the upcoming weeks we will complete the site by adding some audio tracks and some more info about the band. Be sure you check it out.

January 10th 2006 - FIRST GIG OF 2006 ANNOUNCED

Now it's official. Spencer's first show for 2006 is booked and ready. On Wednesday February 1st Spencer will play at the Casbah in Umeå. The club is situated in Scharinska Villan near the city centre. The show starts at 21.00. Tickets can be bought at the door.
