The Silent Sun is a nice lo-fi band from Umeå, Sweden, who play melodic and sometimes symphonic music.

Most songs and lyrics are written by Markus Sandström, who plays the bass and sings lead vocals. The other members of the band are Simon Sandström on guitar, and Spencer's Johan Öhman on Synthesizers.

The drum section of the band used to consist of Mattias Hedman, but since he's moved to some remote part of northern Sweden, Silent Sun is now using drum beats.

The Incredible Band is truly a fantastic project. This rocking jazz trio consists of Robert Bergner on Fender Rhodes, Markus Sandström on Bass and Spencer's Petter Sandström on drums.

The band plays a kind of jazz that has its roots as much in 60s garage pop and psychedelica as in classic jazz music. The songs are written mainly by Robert are often thematic, most often with Western themes.

If you get the chance to see them live, don't miss it. It's quite an original experience.
